What do you wear if you are volunteering at a golf fundraiser?

I am volunteering for a golf fundraiser in September in the Northeast. I have never been to a golf event, I’ve just seen them on TV. I will not be golfing, but I will be helping set up and mingling. Do I wear sporty golf clothes? Do I wear a sun dress? Help!

I would go with the golf attire, slacks and a collared shirt. dont stress you will be OK. just have fun and always smile.
wear sporting clothes if you have to buy clothes at the golf course pavilion.
It’s a fundraiser, so don’t spend any money on outfits – donate that money. September in the Northeast… probably slacks and a collared shirt. Have fun.
Short shorts no bra
Polo (with collar) and slacks or khaki’s would be most comfortable
my wife does this she wear golf shoes snorts (I hope I speel it right) and a top maybe pink sun visor
easy check with a tournament .gotta remember if you’re out in weather he can always change ,and sometimes you can leave your post so think a little
Ask the organizer what would be appropiate. At the charity golf events I have gone to, the volunteers are usually wearing polo shirts embroidered with the event logo and golf shorts or slacks depending on the weather.
Underwear optional
shorts, collared shirt conferable shoes and a visor
you won’t go wrong with khakis and a collared shirt.
