You can be any size and weight. The key to being good is not necessarily being fast, but being efficient. Being tall helps too, but is not necessary.
google it
You should be less than 200 lbs, and about 72 inches tall. You should be .02 – .035 millenia in age.
The thing about tennis is the repetitive motion. You just have to do it over and over and over again until you get used to the motion and be able to do that during your matches. Tennis is a very complex sport and to be able to be successful is years of practice. You can be good in a short amount of time but you need to play with someone good as well. Size doesn’t isn’t a necessity, it’s more of an advantage. Taller players can serve easier and more efficiently than smaller players and lighter players have the ability to move faster than heavier players. The thing about tennis is practice, practice, practice. Not only do you need skill but you need mental toughness as well. Tennis is 25% skill and 75% psychology. That’s all that it is. If you’re smart and have a lot of common sense and really good mechanics, then you’ll do well.
if you are a total enthusiast for playing tennis then your body is not a problem. you should be able to keep your legs and hands free and relaxed that will come by practice. and always remember, tennis is a sport that needs perception, fast reflexes and flexibility. it is a game of mind.
