I love golf but none of my friends like it. I want to lower my handicap but I’ll need to go alone to the golf course and get paired up, my handicap is extremley high, how do I get over the fear of going at it alone and making an ass of myself?

I am getting married and it is going to be a pretty big event. The venue is going to be a clearing out on some property in the woods. It would be nice to have a golf cart to transport older folks from the parking area to the ceremony and reception. Basically my question is: 1. Would a golf course rent you a golf cart for a day if it isnt going to be used on their course? 2. How much do you think this would cost?

I would look stupid on a golf course without knowing anything at all. Will the sport be expensive?

I want to practice golf correctly so that I do not keep any bad habits. I also want to practice golf for a cheap price. I do not want to spend 75 dollars just to go to a golf course for a game and practice. I want to practice for way less than that.
