What should I do to get ready for soccer tryouts?

I am 11 years old and my school has a soccer team. I want to try out because I love soccer and have a natural talent for it. I heard it is hard to make the soccer team so is there any workouts that I can do to get ready for it? It is really cold and snowy here so I can’t practice outside. Should I bring my soccer ball to the YMCA?

My basketball team is running a basketball camp, and I’m not too sure what work outs to make the kids (ages 6-12) do, I mean, I don’t want them running and doing lay ups the whole time. They are supposed to work out from 8am-noon, and I really can’t think of any fundamental things to teach them. Can you give me a few options to choose from, like YMCA-type work outs?

Does anyone have any ideas or tips for how to train/get in shape/stay in shape for tennis during the winter? I can’t actually play tennis due to snow and lack of indoor courts, but are there any workout routines that people know of?

There is no YMCA or indoor courts available- I live in a rural, poor, and very snowy area.
